She spent a month in the hospital (2 coil procedures and a shunt). She has been in 2 rehabs, one was more of a nursing home that was terrible and one was an aggressive rehab that taught her how to get back on her feet. She is 77 and prior was very active, she rode her bike 6.5 miles a day and walked 2. Sharp as a tack. It is June 20th and she is home. She speaks normal, remembers things from her whole life..(in great detail) but..... she has reverted to someone that is very negative, refuses to get up and walk, will not do anything for herself even though she has been on steady doses of anti-depression meds. I see she is able to do things but she finds any reason not to do anything. I wish I knew if this was the permanent her?? She prays constantly but insists on baby talking, crying... She had surgery immediately. She came out of the surgery ok and we could talk to her. After about 7 days after the surgery she had what they call vasospasms, these are not good and are common among this situation. Ever since the vasospasm's all she can do is open her eyes, wiggle her foot, and sometimes twitch a finger. This has been a total tragedy to my dad, brother, me and the whole extended family. Oh Lord Jesus Christ the Father and the Holy Spirit I pray for mom to be able to pull out of this, she has much faith in you as I do. I pray for all the ill and there family's. My mom is a wonderful person, I pray you bring her comfort in these scary times, do not let her be afraid, and do not let her suffer I ask of you oh father as I am your son, I pray for her recovery. I trust my Lord as he is the "master physician" and our creator.He created what the world calls science, and more importantly his children.I trust the good report the Holy Spirit has made known in my heart! What a walking testimony she will be.As I join hands and hearts around the world for the truth of his complete healing for my mother by my Lord! By his stripes we are healed I rebuke the works for the enemy! She is bought and paid for and he has not rights to her. On December 7th 2010 my mother was preparing for a service when she laid down from a headache.After resting a short time, then finished getting ready in her master bath when Dad came in to check on her, she said she was fine and replied with what do you think I am doing ...from her side of the door? Moms spunk.Fifteen min. went by and dad checked on her to find again, with no response.Dads check in his spirit urged him to go in and having to break door in to find my sweet mom on the bathroom floor.Dad with all he had (62 years old,arthritis throughout - retired railroad and Vietnam Vet )went in to his saving mode lifted mom and laid her gently on the bed and cleaning the vomit from a her mouth and placed a washcloth ever so loving to my mothers for head, then called the ambulance. My mom a small town in NM. rushed to hospital ER by ambulance. I in AZ.Found the phone call and begin to hurt with the agony of the possibles of what it could be.No flights available husband and kids drove over 8 hours to hospital.She had been air flighted to Albuquerque NM.A drive of near hours as Dad could not be by her side and minutes were hours. My son of 5 prayed for Grandma and he believed in Faith.Child like faith and very matter of fact. He has prayed over me twice for comfort and reassures me saying the first time, "mommy, don't cry ..Jesus is praying for grandma TOO ",...still makes me tear up.Praise the Lord for him. And then again my husband who is a believer and pastor prayed over my as my 2 year old laid his hands on me along with my 5 year old.Peace from God that's all I know. We are now on day 4. Mom on day 1 had a tube inserted to drain blood, and I and many others prayed with mom and she held the word of God in her hands holding on tight.She also did what the nurses wanted on command with moving the fingers and feet holding two finges when told. Day two she wrote the date and year and the word 2 days,she did this on her own we I offered the pen and paper and we didn't ask ..she was aware of the math of how many days she was in the ICU hospital. Today her respirator was removed and completely breathing by herself.And she tried to speak and said she needed the bathroom.When told not to talk she frowned not a bad sign.Right now we are watching her blood pressure trying to stabilize it.They have already spoke of therapy and her going home and family helping her.My Dad spoke of this.I am giving praise where it is deserved ! Thank you Jesus for your love for my mom and your healing touch.The Author and finisher of our Faith, I give thanks always.The nurses are calling this a miracle.May others know his loving kindness.My Lord , My savior, my best friend my Holy God !
