Truth is we were all born into sin.

Thought I was living, really dead within

Made many bad choices

Listened to many different voices

Hated, slandered, even mistreated folks

Felt like life was too cope

Breaking all ten of God’s Commands

Reaching out for someones hand

Carrying all my burdens and my pain

Couldn’t tell the sunshine from rain

Never thought I could be forgiven

When I met Jesus I found out why I still living

He suffered for my sins, guilt,shame, and pain

Because of His love I can smile again
