I Need Prayer “Matthew 18:20″
May 20th, 2010
I know the power of God and I know the power of Payer, so that is why I am asking… no begging for prayer !
I am falling away from God and I am being pulled in the wrong direction, my pride has allowed me to believethat I was ok that I was a strong man of God that couldn’t be pulled away! Well in the midst of that I have slowly began to open my eyes and truly see what is going on.
Please pray for my safe return to Gods loving hands and the strength to get there! I know even in the midst of sin he is still there for we sin daily, but anyone who knows the ways of God and still walks in sin will have a harder punishment to pay! I now understand why God opposes the proud!
Matthew 18:20 (KJV)
For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.

You sound like a very smart man. You should know that sometimes we all go through moments when our faith is tested and that seems like what must be happening. I’ve had a lot of moments like this. This will help push you to strengthen your relationship with God. You just have to pray and look to the word for guidance. Just hold on and keep praying. God never leaves you even when you start to walk away from Him.
I do not believe that our God who is so loving will punish you in ANY way, if you repent your sins, God will ALWAYS forgive you.
You are in my prayers.

hello friend, i dont know why u r drifting away frm Him?? but i know one thing for sure tht it is work of the evil one.he is a deceiver. he makes us feel guilty. my advice to u as a beliving friend is tht confess all ur sins nd completely submit to Lord Jesus Christ. make his wish urs. whnever u feel tht u r back sliding just say this “Father i hence cover myself nd my family in the Blood of Jesus Christ so tht the evil one cannot effect me and my family in any way. i pray nd praise u in Jesus mighty name. Amen” ths is a very powerful prayer.after this give Jesus a huge shout of praise. nd dont ever feel tht u cant go to Father God. remember the parable of the Prodigal Son. Share everything with Jesus. Hallelujah for the Lamb of God……

Hello friend,
I just said a prayer for you too.
I found some verses in the Bible that I hope will offer you encouragement and hope as you seek to come back to God.
John 6:37-40 “All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will by no means cast out. For I have come down from heaven, not to do My own will but the will of Him who sent Me. This is the will of the Father who sent Me, that of all He has given Me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up at the last day. And this is the will of Him who sent Me, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in Him may have everlasting life; and I will raise him up at the last day.” (NKJV).
2 Peter 3:9 “The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.” (NKJV)
God doesn’t want you to perish but to come to repentance. It’s His will for you to be saved from sin. Even if you did things that you knew were wrong there is still forgiveness for you, for as long as you are sorry for what you do and desire to come back to Him He will abundantly pardon you.
We only commit the unpardonable sin if we no longer care to do right and to be saved by God’s grace.
You haven’t committed the unpardonable sin because the Holy Spirit is drawing you back to God. And you desire to go back to Him.
Go to the Father in prayer and pour out to Him what’s in your heart. Give Him all your sins and ask Him to forgive you. He will. Also ask Him to give you true repentance so you don’t do the things again that have hurt Him and you. But above all, never give up. It’s hard to move forward when you’re looking back.
Devote your life a fresh to Him each morning and read His Word daily.
