Praise God! Yes our God is a loving God. What a wonderful testimony, as I read your story I could feel your appreciation and love for our Lord. My cousin lost his battle to throat cancer about a year and half ago, he went through several major surgeries, God was with us every step of the way. Your story has me thinking of him this morning as I read it, thank you so much for sharing. I can relate to your testimony, my daughter is a nurse, we have attended Jenkins and Rev. Bob has helped me spiritually through some rough roads, he was an answer to my prayers when I was a low point in my life, I had never met him and he crossed my path, not only once but twice. The second time was when I was leaving BWMC to make arrangements to take my cousin home to WV to die, I asked him to pray for travel mercies, he had never met my cousin, the next day as we were preparing to drive my cousin home, Rev. Bob appeared in the hospital room, family and friends bowed heads and joined hands and prayed with him and my cousin. My personal prayer was answered when my daughter who was on duty at Harbor Hospital was able to find coverage so she could make the journey with us, so she could manage my cousins pain as we drove the 4 hr trip, we could not stop, we were told that we could lose him on the journey home, hospice would meet us in WV. A close family friend followed behind us,and we made it without incident, we brought Ronnie home to his mother and siblings who cared for him his final week, my aunt was not able to travel to MD in the last few weeks before bringing her son home, her husband, Ronnie's father was in a WV hospital in ICU, they passed within two weeks of each other, Ronnie first, then my uncle. God sent Ronnie first, so he could greet his father at the gate to welcome him, because God knew that my uncle carried fears of dying.

Praise God from Whom all blessings flow!
I had the privilege of serving with/mentoring Brenda on a Student Outreach missions trip to Trinidad Dec. 29-Jan. 6th. She is an awesome nurse already, as student, and a wonderful prayer partner ...so glad the Lord had your paths cross.
May you continue to know the peace and presence of God, and be daily filled with His Spirit.
Betsy, MTW Medical Missionary
PS...come serve with us when Brenda serves again!
